GALAXY RTX 3080 Ti HOF OC Lab Edition XOC Special has been overclocked to 2.8 GHz

Last month, GALAX released GeForce RTX 3080 Ti HOF OC Lab Edition/HOF OC Lab Edition XOC Special graphics cards, updating the flagship product line of the Hall of Fame. However, the two graphics cards are the same from appearance to packaging and even the specifications of each parameter. It is not clear what is the difference between them.

According to GALAXY, the GPU physique of the Hall of Fame series graphics cards is Bin1. This is NVIDIA’s internal GPU physique level setting, bin0 is normal, bin1 is better, and bin2 is excellent. Among them, bin2 is extremely rare and rarely used because its number is too small. Manufacturers generally use bin1 grade GPUs for overclocking high-end graphics cards, and bin0 grades are general models on the market.

As the top graphics card product line of GALAXY, the HOF series considers extreme overclocking conditions at the beginning of the design to provide the best quality, but it is not easy to buy Hall of Fame graphics cards with GeForce RTX 30 series GPUs. Recently, the Overclocked Gaming Systems – OGS team from Greece used GeForce RTX 3080 Ti HOF OC Lab Edition XOC Special graphics card to overclock the core to 2.8 GHz, and the 3D Mark Port Royal score was 18726 points. This frequency is quite powerful for the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti. Next, it may try to break the 3 GHz mark. The GeForce RTX 3090 has done this before.
