According to Deadline, Sony’s Gran Turismo movie, directed by Neill Blomkamp, may hit the big screen sooner than expected, with a rumored release date of August 11, 2023. According to the film’s official log description, the Gran Tursimo movie is based on real events. The film is the ultimate wish-fulfillment tale of a teenage Gran Turismo player whose gaming skills won a series of Nissan competitions to become an actual professional race car driver.
