MSI releases 6 QD-OLED gaming monitors

MSI has announced the launch of six QD-OLED gaming monitors, ranging from 27 to 49 inches, belonging to both the MPG and MAG series.

MSI asserts that QD-OLED, as an enhanced version of OLED, marks a significant breakthrough in both technology and quality. Compared to conventional OLEDs, QD-OLED displays colors with greater fidelity and accuracy, excelling in both brightness and darker regions. Owing to the integration of quantum dot technology, it boasts a broader color spectrum and heightened color purity, rendering more accurate hues for superior digital imagery and video playback quality.

Furthermore, in this release, MSI has upgraded their QD-OLED gaming monitors with OLED Care 2.0, enhancing screen protection optimization to mitigate the risk of damage to the OLED panel during extended use. The design is fanless, leveraging the exceptional thermal conductivity of graphene, ensuring efficient and silent cooling, thereby prolonging the lifespan of the QD-OLED panel.

The new QD-OLED offerings include two curved and four flat-panel models:

  • MAG 341CQP QD-OLED, 1800R, UWQHD, 175Hz, 0.03ms GTG
  • MPG 491CQP QD-OLED, 1800R, DQHD, 144Hz, 0.03ms GTG
  • MPG 321URX QD-OLED, UHD 4K, 240Hz, 0.03ms GTG
  • MAG 321UPX QD-OLED, UHD 4K, 240Hz, 0.03ms GTG
  • MPG 271QRX QD-OLED, WQHD 2K, 360Hz, 0.03ms GTG
  • MAG 271QPX QD-OLED, WQHD 2K, 360Hz, 0.03ms GTG

Both the MAG 341CQP QD-OLED and MPG 491CQP QD-OLED are equipped with HDMI 2.1 and Type-C ports, supporting VRR and ALLM. They have been certified by VESA with ClearMR 9000 and DisplayHDR True Black 400, guaranteeing players outstanding motion blur visuals and vibrant imagery. The MPG 321URX QD-OLED, MAG 321UPX QD-OLED, MPG 271QRX QD-OLED, and MAG 271QPX QD-OLED have optimized enhancements for FPS and AAA game visual and speed performance. These products are fully outfitted with MSI G.I. smart software and are wholly compatible with MSI host mode.

MSI has stated that a more detailed introduction will be presented at CES 2024 in January 2024.
