Microsoft has released KB4580364 to fix issue that displays the incorrect CPU frequency

Recently, some users found that the processor frequency of Windows 10 was abnormal after installing the cumulative update, and the task manager even showed that the processor frequency was 0 GHz.

Of course, if you think about it carefully, it is unlikely that the processor is faulty or damaged. After all, if it really fails or is damaged, the system may not boot normally.

So this is naturally a problem with the Windows 10 system. To be precise, it is a problem with the cumulative update released by Microsoft that caused the processor frequency to display abnormally.

Specifically, some users may find that the processor frequency is abnormal when opening the task manager to the performance.

But in the frequency, 0.00GHz will be displayed. Microsoft officially stated that this is an error, but only a few processors will have such errors when reading.

At present, Microsoft has released Windows 10 20H2 Build 19042.608 (KB4580364) for repair. After the user installs this cumulative update and restarts, the processor frequency can be displayed normally.

However, due to stability considerations, users are advised not to install the cumulative update of the beta version. The related fixes will be integrated into the stable version update on November 10.

Of course, what needs to be explained here is that the processor frequency display error will not affect the actual use, so users do not need to rush to install the cumulative update beta version.
