Microsoft will fix Windows 10 mapped network drive issues this month

Previously Microsoft re-released the fixed version of Windows 10 Version 1809, but unfortunately, this new version still has a lot of problems. For example, the mapped network drive failure affecting many enterprise users, the user cannot map the mounted network hard disk to the local resource manager due to the failure. Through the mapping function, users can directly mount the network hard disk in the resource manager, mainly when the enterprise builds the file server itself and mounts it and centrally manages it. Network drive mapping is also a basic function that is very common in some enterprises. It is conceivable how bad it is for the affected enterprises.

Microsoft had previously stated that it would try to fix it next year when it was notified of this issue. Of course, it is very strange how serious the vulnerability will take so long to repair. In the latest announcement, Microsoft said it expects to develop a solution early this month, so it should be scheduled to release a routine cumulative update on December 12. Affected include Windows 10 Version 1809, Windows Server 2019, and Windows 10 LTSC 2019.

It is very unwise for companies to rush to use the new version. After all, there are many difficult problems that are not suitable for corporate office use.
