EK launches Momentum VRM Bridge for ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Formula motherboard
EKWB finally expanded its Momentum VRM Bridge product line to the AMD platform ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Formula motherboard. Previously, EKWB’s VRM Bridge products were only applicable to ROG Maximus XII series motherboards on Intel platforms. The basic function of this product is to act as a shunt. Users can connect the EK-Quantum Velocity CPU water block compatible with the AM4 slot and the CrossChill EK III hybrid water cooling module of the ASUS Crosshair Formula VIII motherboard. This thermal solution helps to realize the full performance potential of the platform.
The entire VRM Bridge slides onto special nickel-plated barb push-in fittings, while the 2mm thick stainless steel base plate acts as the locking mechanism that latches to the barb fittings. The top cover is made of a single piece of high-grade acrylic casting and CNC milling. Through the installation system, the user can connect the CPU water block and the mixed water-cooling module in just a few simple steps. The whole process does not need to install multiple accessories from different angles. According to EK, it only takes a few minutes.
Quantum Momentum VRM Bridge simplifies the installation of the water cooling system, and it is no longer necessary to equip the CrossChill EK III hybrid water cooling module with hoses. EK said that compared with traditional air-cooled heat dissipation, through this specially built heat dissipation method, the operating temperature of the MOSFET can be reduced by 29.3 degrees Celsius, thereby effectively reducing the overall temperature and extending the service life. It also provides RGB function, which can be configured through ASUS AuraSync. In addition to providing outstanding heat dissipation performance, it also provides good aesthetics, which is perfectly integrated with ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Formula.
