  • Microsoft removed Huawei MateBook X Pro laptop from the Microsoft Store

Yesterday we mentioned that there was an unanswered answer when the media contacted Microsoft to inquire about whether Huawei notebooks could continue to receive Windows 10 updates. Microsoft has still refused to disclose information about Huawei-related matters until now, but Microsoft has gradually removed content related to Huawei. For example, the original Microsoft online store originally sold the Huawei MateBook X Pro laptop, but suddenly the device disappeared since last weekend.

Now you can see the page description from the cached web page snapshot, but if you want to open the original page, you will not be able to directly display the corresponding content.

The Verge found that some of Microsoft’s offline retail stores continue to sell Huawei products, but it is not clear how long this will last.

At present, the US Department of Commerce has signed a temporary license to allow related suppliers to continue to provide hardware and software to Huawei so that Huawei can update network-related equipment.

However, the temporary license does not seem to include Windows 10 laptops, so it seems that Microsoft can only discontinue Huawei products and stop working with Huawei.
