Samsung Galaxy Fold display has a new problem

There is no doubt that Samsung’s folding screen mobile phone Galaxy Fold is a technology-rich smartphone product this year. When everyone is still using a straight-screen, hard-screen mobile phone, Samsung has pushed this foldable product to consumers. If you want to push this product to the consumer market, its quality must be guaranteed at least. However, there are already examples showing that the quality of the folding screen used in the Galaxy Fold has yet to be tested.

According to TechCrunch, after using the phone for a day, there was a dead pixel in the middle of the foldable screen. As shown in the figure, in the middle of the screen, a small number of small spots appear in the range of about 1 cm in diameter, and this does not affect the screen operation. The parties stated that during the use process, the mobile phone was used normally, no accidents occurred, and it was not exposed to water or dust.

For the use of the Galaxy Fold phone, Samsung has repeatedly released videos and articles to emphasize the unavailability of pressing the screen, not to expose the mobile phone to water or dust, and so on. One very likely reason is that Samsung itself knows that current folding-screen phones are prone to problems with screens and the like.

However, the Korean version of the Galaxy Fold has been on the market for some time, and there are not many reports of problems. This may be just an example. In short, as the first batch of folding screen mobile phone products, this phone still needs more times to test.
