Microsoft warns that subsequent versions of Windows 11 Dev are more unstable

The transition from Windows 10 to Windows 11 is relatively smooth. The only problem is that the security chip prevents some users from upgrading.

There are already quite a lot of users who have taken part in the Insider Preview program and upgrade the Windows 11 system, of course, these current versions are development versions and not informal versions.

In terms of stability, we think that the overall stability of these development versions is pretty good, and there are no large-scale errors that seriously affect the use of users.

But the current is just the beginning, and Microsoft is now also beginning to warn insider preview users: the next development version of Windows 11 will be more unstable.

Microsoft sent emails to users who registered for the preview program in batches. In the emails, Microsoft stated that the current version is different from the official version of Windows 11 released later.

According to Microsoft, subsequent updates will provide a full version rather than a simple cumulative update, and the most important thing is that the main features of the current version have actually been developed.

Microsoft reminds users that if you cannot tolerate various problems, you can switch to the Beta channel as soon as possible. The beta channel change speed is slower and relatively more stable.

Now more users are looking forward to the built-in Android subsystem function of Windows 11, through which users can directly run Android applications on the desktop platform.

But since the first development version was released at the end of May, there has been no news about the Android subsystem. We have no idea when Microsoft will release the Android subsystem.

Judging from the emails sent by Microsoft to users, it is very likely that the Android subsystem will not be launched this year, and users may have to wait until the development and beta version are released next year.

The reason for this speculation is that the official version of Windows 11 will be released in the fall, and the current time is already tight and may not be suitable for the development of important new features.

In particular, Microsoft stated that the main functions of the current version have been developed, so the Android subsystem is likely to be the focus of Windows 11 22H2.
