Microsoft to launch Surface event for September 22nd

Microsoft’s Surface series computers have been a lot of low-key in the past two years. There is no new Surface released very grandly, and the new products are mainly small changes. However, because of the arrival of Windows 11 this year, Microsoft seems to be preparing to bring the Surface that will be equipped with the new Windows system first. They will hold a special launch conference for Surface’s new products on the 22nd of this month.

A few days ago, Microsoft announced that Windows 11 will be officially launched on October 5th, so the new batch of Surface should be pre-installed with Windows 11 system, and the media expect that Microsoft will bring a new generation of Surface Book 4, facelifted Surface Pro and Surface Duo 2.

Surface Book series and no major updates for a long time. Earlier, Windows Central revealed that the new generation of Surface Book 4 will be 14 inches (the old model is 13.3 and 15 inches), but the new machine will no longer be a detachable two-in-one design, so this one may also be a High-end hardware version of Surface Laptop Pro

The Surface Duo 2 should not be a Windows 11 device. According to previous rumors, the appearance of the new phone will not change much. The main change is that the internal hardware is upgraded to Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, which supports the mainstream hardware configuration of this year, including the 5G network.

Surface Pro appeared in the promotional video of this conference, but it seems that the appearance has not changed much, but it should also be an upgrade of the internal hardware. The existing Surface Pro is expected to be able to fully support Windows 11, of course, the specific information will still have to be announced at a later press conference.
