Microsoft may launch Surface Laptop Go 2: Upgrade CPU to 11th-gen Intel processor

Everyone else already uses Intel’s 11th-generation Core, and the Surface series is still using the 10th-generation Core, which will naturally make everyone feel entangled when buying, but Microsoft doesn’t seem to care. Almost two years later, this may be happening again with the upcoming Surface Laptop Go 2.
According to the latest discovery from a Korean website, Microsoft is already preparing to launch a new Surface Laptop Go 2. However, the appearance is basically the same as the current model. The main update is to upgrade the CPU, from the current 10th generation Core i5-1035G7 to the 11th generation Core i5-1135G7.Of course, in all fairness, the 11th generation Core i5-1135G7 will not be unusable this year, and 4 cores and 8 threads can still be used for office and learning purposes. In addition, the new Iris Xe GPU is much stronger than the current one. In addition, the new machine will be pre-installed with Windows 11 system.
In terms of other hardware, the Surface Laptop Go 2 remains the same, including a 12.4-inch 3:2 ratio screen with USB-A, USB-C, and Surface-specific interfaces, etc. But it still doesn’t seem to have a backlit keyboard, and the memory and storage configuration is up to 8GB+256GB. It is said that Microsoft’s new machine will go on sale in early June, with a starting price of about $650.
