Chromebook users will be able to monitor processor and memory usage in real time

Chromium user FrançoisBeaufort said today that Google’s Chrome OS engineers have managed to implement a new feature that allows Chromebook users to monitor CPU, memory, and zRam statistics in real time. This feature is available on the Chrome Canary experimental channel and can be easily enabled by opening Google Chrome and visiting the chrome: // flags / # sys-internals logo. Where users can monitor the hardware of the Chromebook and view the contents of memory or CPU under heavy workloads, all of which is real-time data.

FrançoisBeaufort says in Google+ messages that Chrome OS users can monitor their CPU usage, memory, and zRam statistics in real time in the latest Canary via the new chrome: // sys-internals page. As with all other experimental features, new internal pages for monitoring Chromebook hardware will be available to users on the Chrome OS Stable channel soon. So if you now want to use this feature, you must install Chrome Canary. Otherwise, you need to wait a few weeks to get this feature in the official version.

In addition, Chromebook owners will soon get other cool new features, such as when the local video controls fade out, the mouse cursor to maintain the ability to hide the Chrome operating system to provide a more immersive experience.
