AOC launched a new ultra-wide monitor, 32: 9 curved VA display

AOC launches two new 49-inch curved monitors, both with a 32:9 ultra-wide ratio, which is equivalent to connecting two 16:9 screens together, allowing players to get a higher sense of immersion during the game.

The first is the higher specification AGON AG493UCX2. This monitor has a maximum refresh rate of 165Hz, a resolution of 5120*1440, has obtained VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification, and has a response time of 1-millisecond MPRT. As a curved screen, AGON AG493UCX2 uses a VA panel with a curvature of 1800R. In addition, this monitor also supports the KVM function, which means that players can connect two PCs to this monitor, and then use the same set of keyboards and mouse to control. Of course, with the KVM function, players can also use the Type-C interface that comes with AGON AG493UCX2 to connect the phone to the monitor to play mobile games.

The AGON AG493QCX is a more mainstream market, with a resolution of 3840*1080 and a lower refresh rate than AG493UCX2, with a maximum of 144Hz, but to be honest, the difference between 165Hz and 144Hz is very small. This display has obtained VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification and has a response time of 1-millisecond MPRT. In terms of interfaces, AGON AG493QCX has 2 HDMI 2.0, 2 DP 1.2, and 3 USB Type-A interfaces, KVM function, and Type-C interface for connecting notebooks and mobile phones are also equipped.

Both monitors will go on sale in September this year, priced at 940 and 620 pounds respectively.
