Acer releases new Spin 514 Chromebook: Ryzen 5000 C processor, 10 hours of battery life

Recently, the well-known notebook manufacturer Acer released a new 2-in-1 Spin 514 Chromebook notebook. The new product is equipped with AMD’s recently launched Ryzen 5000 C-series processor. The top cover and bottom cover are made of aluminum alloy. Thanks to the 360° rotating bearing designed on the screen, the notebook supports two-in-one flipping.

In terms of screen, the Acer Spin 514 Chromebook uses a 14-inch FHD IPS display made of Corning Gorilla Glass, supports multi-touch, has a 6.1mm side frame, and a 100% sRGB color gamut. In terms of core configuration, the notebook is equipped with AMD’s newly launched Ryzen 5000 C series processor, which adopts Zen 3 architecture and has four versions. They are the Ryzen 3 5125C with 2 cores and 4 threads, the Ryzen 3 5425C with 4 cores and 8 threads, the Ryzen 5 5625C with 6 cores and 12 threads, and the Ryzen 7 5825C with 8 cores and 16 threads.

In terms of battery life, Acer said that the Spin 514 Chromebook has a battery life of 10 hours. In terms of interfaces, the notebook provides two USB Gen 2 Type-C interfaces, an optional HDMI interface, and also supports WiFi 6 functions.
