Microsoft pushes Windows 10 v2004 to enterprise for testing

Microsoft has earlier provided Windows 10 Build 19041, which is the official version of Windows 10 v2004 RTM, for individual test users.

Microsoft has provided Windows 10 Build 19041 iso image on the test project home page, of course, Microsoft has not officially announced that this version is the final official version.

The image file is mainly released for users on the slow ring channel. The release preview channel has not yet received a push. It seems that Microsoft needs time to do the final test.

The interesting thing is that the company seems to be moving faster than we think because Microsoft has now made this version of the image file available to the enterprise for testing.

An enterprise network administrator tweeted that Microsoft had launched Windows 10 Version 2004 for enterprises and prepared it for public release in advance.

This version has not yet been publicly released and is therefore not a new official version of Windows 10. Microsoft has marked it as a release preview in the Enterprise Update Service.

Microsoft’s announcement stated:

Hello Windows Insiders, we have released 20H1 Build 19041.84 via WSUS that contains the latest security fixes for organizations to prepare for releasing Windows 10 version 2004 in their organizations. This release will replace the existing content in Windows Pre-Release if you have already added it to your catalog. Please visit our original announcement on Tech Community for additional details on our support for WSUS.
