Windows Server vNext Preview Build 18282 releases today. Regrettably, Microsoft’s practice does not release a version update log, so we don’t know what’s new in this Preview Build.

New Content

  • Windows Server vNext Semi-Annual Preview The Server Core Edition is available in the 18 supported Server languages in ISO format and in English only in VHDX format.  
  • Server Core App Compatibility FoD Preview 

However, as the first preview version of Windows Server 2019, there are usually not many new features, and the focus of development is still focused on background performance improvement. Windows Server 19H1 is the next version of the semi-annual channel (SAC) and is expected to be released next spring.
