Western Digital launches WD Blue SN570 NVMe SSD

Western Digital announced the launch of a new series of blue disk SSDs: WD Blue SN570 NVMe SSD. According to Western Digital, this series of products will be geared towards cultural and entrepreneurial industry workers. From the name point of view, it is relatively close to the blue disk SN 550. It is a non-cached NVMe SSD, using PCIe 3.0 x4 channels and 2280 M.2 specifications.

Blue Disk SN570 provides three capacities of 250GB, 500GB, and 1TB. The corresponding prices in the United States are $49.99, $59.99, and $109.99. Western Digital did not disclose which main control chip was used, and which 3D NAND flash memory was used. According to Western Digital’s information, the Blue Disk SN570 supports NVMe 1.4 and uses the latest BiCS 5 112-layer 3D TLC NAND flash memory.
