watchOS 9 may feature “major upgrades to activity and health tracking”
Apple is expected to adopt a major update in the new version of watchOS 9, which will be updated this year, and the Apple Watch Series 8, which will be launched in the second half of the year.
Although the Apple Watch Series 7 has added a larger surface design and even added an IP6X-rated dustproof and WR50-rated waterproof design. And it is advertised that it can be used in various outdoor sports situations, so you don’t have to worry about whether the watch screen will be scratched, but the market expects that Apple will still add more durable specifications for outdoor use scenarios.
In the new version of watchOS 9, which is expected to be launched next, Apple is expected to further improve the tracking effect of sports and health data, so that the Apple Watch can more accurately record the user’s physical state.
As for the design part, Apple may change the existing arc curve design of the Apple Watch and may introduce a flat right-angled line design similar to the iPhone 12 series. However, to make such adjustments in the relatively small internal space of the Apple Watch will actually face greater challenges, so Apple may still continue the existing design language of the Apple Watch, and may only make adjustments in details such as size and usable area.
