For GNU/Linux, macOS and Windows platforms, Vivaldi Technologies today released the Vivaldi 2.8. This version update has brought a number of major improvements, the most notable of which is that Vivaldi Sync allows users to sync bookmarks, passwords, history, auto-fill information and more.
Starting with Vivaldi 2.8, all users’ online data can be synchronized across platforms, allowing users to use it on GNU/Linux, macOS and Windows desktop, as well as Android. Vivaldi CEO, Jon von Tetzchner said:
“During the past several months, we’ve been refining Vivaldi to ensure it delivers the best possible experience. With our new version, you can expect further improvements across the board, which you’ll feel as you navigate the desktop application. We’ve tinkered with the internal workings, squashed some long-standing bugs and polished some rough edges.”
