Apple’s current main product is still the iPhone series updated every year, but occasionally it will change its appetite to launch a more affordable version to occupy the market. For example, after launching the iPhone SE in the past few years, Apple did not cut off the production line but prepared to launch the second generation on the basis of the iPhone 8 to continue to maintain low prices. Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that Apple is expected to launch the iPhone SE’s successor version, the iPhone SE 2, at the spring conference next year.
The device will be equipped with a 4.7-inch LCD display and the same design as the iPhone 8, although the internal structure will be different from the iPhone 8. For example, the iPhone SE 2 will use the Apple A13 Bionic processor and comes with 3GB of memory, which allows the iPhone SE 2 to have the same specifications as the iPhone 11.
Of course, after all, it is an affordable version, so Apple may reduce battery capacity and cut costs in the display, otherwise, the price can not be completely reduced. For example, Ming-Chi Kuo expects that iPhone SE 2 will use TouchID instead of FaceID, and some of Apple’s main features will not appear in this version.
