Team Group releases T-FORCE CARDEA Z540 M.2 PCIe 5.0 SSD
T-FORCE is Team Group’s esports brand dedicated to efficient and stable storage solutions. The overall size of the T-FORCE CARDEA Z540 M.2 PCIe 5.0 SSD is 80 x 22 x 3.7 mm, with a weight of 13g. Currently, it only offers a 2TB capacity, with a maximum sequential read speed of 12000 MB/s, a maximum sequential write speed of 10000 MB/s, a maximum random read of 1400K IOPS, and a maximum random write of 1500K IOPS. With advanced intelligent thermal regulation technology, it has built-in temperature sensing to automatically adjust performance output. This not only maintains the appropriate operating temperature when the SSD is running at high speed but also extends the life of the SSD.
Team Group has equipped the T-FORCE CARDEA Z540 M.2 PCIe 5.0 SSD with an ultra-thin graphene heat sink that has received multiple patent certifications. It is made of 100% recyclable graphene material and uses the crystal structure advantages of its hexagonal honeycomb lattice to quickly and uniformly diffuse heat sources, providing strong heat dissipation for the SSD. Team Group states that the thickness of the ultra-thin graphene heat sink is less than 1mm and is compatible with various PCIe 5.0 motherboard native heat sinks. Internal testing shows that compared to using only the motherboard heat sink device, the temperature can be reduced by about 3-5℃.
The T-FORCE CARDEA Z540 M.2 PCIe 5.0 SSD supports Team Group’s S.M.A.R.T. intelligent monitoring software, allowing users to easily grasp SSD health and performance information. Team Group stated that the T-FORCE CARDEA Z540 M.2 PCIe 5.0 SSD will be available in the second quarter of this year and will come with a five-year warranty.
