Sony announced that “Gran Turismo 7” will be released on March 4, 2022, for PS5 and PS4

Sony’s “Gran Turismo” series started in 1997 and was developed by the famous producer Kazunori Yamauchi. As an exclusive work on the PlayStation platform, the sales of the first work reached tens of millions. Later, a series of games were launched on PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, and PSP platforms. However, since the launch of “Gran Turismo 6” on PlayStation 3 in 2013, the “Gran Turismo” series has never been updated, and it has been 8 years since then.

At the Sony PlayStation Showcase live broadcast event that ended early this morning, Sony brought news of a variety of game masterpieces, including the new “God of War”, “Spider-Man” landing on the PC platform, and the launch of “Gran Turismo 7” on March 4, 2022. After the live event, PlayStation Blog revealed a lot of related information about “Gran Turismo 7”.

Sony said that due to the impact of the coronavirus epidemic, the development of “Gran Turismo 7” was delayed. The goal of “Gran Turismo 7” this time is to design a game to convey the car and racing culture of the past 150 years while responding to the expectations of fans of the series over the years. “Gran Turismo 7” single-player mode will bring players a unique journey, and the battle mode will return. The camouflage editor will also appear on “Gran Turismo 7”, and there will be a posing function, placing the car in the player’s favorite scene to generate a realistic photo.

“Gran Turismo 7” will be released on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 platforms.
