SilverStone launches Shark Force 160 ARGB fan
SilverStone announced the release of the Shark Force 160 ARGB fan. This is a 160mm diameter fan that provides a maximum air volume of 160 CFM. A unique 160mm fan dimension engineered by SilverStone utilizes 140mm fan mounts to provide greater overall cooling power with a larger cooling surface area.
The Shark Force 160 ARGB fan measures 160mm x 160mm x 25mm overall and weighs 220 grams. Equipped with hydrodynamic bearings, it can spin up to 1600 RPM, and SilverStone says the Shark Force 160 ARGB fan runs smoother, more reliable, and quieter than most in its class. According to SilverStone, the Shark Force 160 ARGB fan has a maximum air volume of 160 CFM, a maximum wind pressure of 2.21 mmH2O, and a maximum noise level of 38.1 dB(A), which can maintain very quiet operation under light load conditions.
The Shark Force 160 ARGB fan uses a 4-pin PWM connector and a 3-pin ARGB connector (5V LED), which is compatible with lighting control software from multiple motherboard manufacturers. It is worth mentioning that SilverStone introduced a modular wiring port on the Shark Force 160 ARGB fan for the first time. Users can choose according to their wiring needs, which simplifies wiring to a certain extent. In addition, the Shark Force 160 ARGB fan itself consumes 7.2W, and the light consumes 2.15W.
Compared with other products of the same type, this Shark Force 160 ARGB fan from SilverStone has its own characteristics in design. At present, SilverStone has not disclosed the pricing of the Shark Force 160 ARGB fan, and it is not clear about the specific launch time.
