Previously, Silverstone HELA 850R Platinum power supply that meets the ATX 3.0/PCIe5.0 standard has been discovered and belongs to its HELA series product line launched in late 2021. The Silverstone HELA 850R Platinum power supply is currently on sale on Amazon and should be the first ATX 3.0/PCIe5.0 power supply that users can buy, priced at $215.
HELA 850R Platinum is a modular power supply belonging to the ATX specification, which has passed the certification of Cybenetics and 80 PLUS Platinum and adopts a single 12V output. It can achieve 24/7 continuous power output at an operating temperature of 50°C. It is equipped with a 135mm FDB fan and is equipped with a semi-fanless switch, which can realize zero-noise operation at stop and provide a quieter use environment.
HELA 850R Platinum is equipped with one set of motherboard power supply output, five sets of CPU and PCIe external power supply output, and four sets of SATA and D-type power supply output. In addition to providing a 12+4Pin 12VHPWR power supply interface, HELA 850R Platinum also provides two 4+4Pin CPU power supply interfaces, six PCIe power supply interfaces, and multiple SATA and D-type power supply interfaces. The ultra-flexible black flat wire is used, which can meet the needs of most current PC platforms.
According to SilverStone’s introduction, there will also be two power supplies with lower-rated power, HELA 650 Platinum and HELA 750 Platinum, both equipped with 12VHPWR power supply ports to meet the needs of different users. In contrast, most of the power supplies of other brands that meet the ATX 3.0/PCIe5.0 standard have a rated power of 1000W or above, and there are fewer models of 750W or below. SilverStone provides new options for ordinary users.
