Safari 70 Preview shows “not secure” warning for HTTP sites

After Chrome, Safari began showing “not secure” warnings for HTTP sites, and when the site the user visited did not have HTTPS protection, the browser would display a warning indicator. This feature is currently only available for the Safari Technology Preview 70, and it is currently unknown whether Apple plans to offer this feature to the official version.

When a user accesses a page via an HTTP connection and enters sensitive data such as a password or credit card number, Safari will display a warning message.

The HTTPS encrypted connection better protects the user’s data and security, and the Let’s Encrypt project sponsored by Mozilla has issued a free certificate to the website.
