Rumor: iOS 15 launched next fall will no longer support iPhone 6S and the original iPhone SE
The official version of iOS 14 that has been launched is still supporting iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus. According to The Verifier reports, Apple will give up support for these models in the official version of iOS 15 to be launched next year, including the original iPhone SE.
The iPhone 6S series was released in September 2015 and the first generation of iPhone SE was released in March 2016. These early models will no longer be supported by the new version.
The official version of iOS 15 will continue to provide feature updates for iPhone 7 and later models. Old models may get security updates but no feature updates.
