PowerColor launches Radeon RX 6500 XT ITX 4GB GDDR6 graphic card

At CES 2022, AMD released the Radeon RX 6500 XT. Its Navi 24 core based on RDNA 2 architecture is manufactured with 6nm process, equipped with 16MB infinite cache, has 16 CUs, that is, 1024 stream processors, and is equipped with 4GB of GDDR6 video memory, the video memory bit width is 64 bits, and the video memory is 64 bits wide, the rate is 18 Gbps.

Recently, PowerColor launched an AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT ITX 4GB GDDR6-DH graphic card, with a double slot thickness and an overall size of 165 x 125 x 40 mm. It uses a 90mm fan with double ball bearing technology for heat dissipation and is equipped with silent fan technology. With the power consumption of the Radeon RX 6500 XT, there should be no problem with heat dissipation.

In the official introduction of PowerColor, Radeon RX 6500 XT ITX 4GB GDDR6 is equipped with an 8Pin external power supply interface, but the provided product picture shows a 6Pin external power supply interface. There is also an HDMI 2.1 port, as well as a DisplayPort 1.4 port.

Since the Radeon RX 6500XT only has 4GB of video memory, the PCIe 4.0 interface is only four channels, and it does not support 4K H.264/H.265 encoding and AV1 decoding, which may affect the purchase of some users. While the official suggested retail price is $199, the actual price may be significantly higher, PowerColor did not provide pricing or availability.
