NVIDIA RTX 3060 Ti with GDDR6X will be 7% to 10% faster than RTX 3060 Ti with GDDR6

It was previously reported that Nvidia will launch the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti and RTX 3060 with GDDR6X, and the memory speed will be increased to the same 19Gbps as the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti, and related products seem to have begun to appear. The GeForce Game Ready 522.25 WHQL driver was subsequently released by Nvidia, confirming the existence of these products. In theory, upgrading the video memory to GDDR6X with a higher speed will bring about a performance improvement. It’s hard to tell directly how much of an impact it will have.

VideoCardz reveals the details of the new product and got the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti GDDR6X ready test results, showing a score of over 31500 points in 3DMark Fire Strike and 12500 points in Time Spy, which is faster than the original version 7% to 10%.

GeForce RTX 3060 Ti GDDR6X will be equipped with GA104 GPU, and the acceleration frequency is 5MHz higher than that of the GDDR6 version. Since the video memory was replaced with GDDR6X, the speed was increased from 14Gbps to 19Gbps, and the memory bandwidth was increased by 36%. The specific power consumption of the graphics card is not yet clear.

It is understood that Nvidia will launch the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti GDDR6X at the end of October, but its partners hope to delay the time until November. Retailers have already started selling the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti GDDR6X, which is only slightly more expensive than the original.
