As we all know, HMD has a preference for the native system, which is mainly reflected in the fact that all of its mobile phones are equipped with native Android, and the domestic system has been slightly customized, but the difference is not much. Perhaps benefiting from this, recently, HMD announced that it would provide Android 9.0 Pie system update for each of its Nokia phones.
Below are all Nokia smartphones that are expected to launch Android 9 Pie in the coming months:
Nokia 7 Plus (already available via Developer Preview)
Nokia 8 Sirocco
Nokia 7 (China-exclusive)
Nokia 6.1 Plus
Nokia 2.1 (Android Go)
Nokia 1 (Android Go)
Nokia X6 (China-exclusive)
Nokia X5 (China-exclusive)
The Nokia 7 Plus is probably the first to update Android 9 Pie because it is the only HMD smartphone to participate in the developer preview program.
However, Nokia does not provide a detailed timetable, so it is still unknown when users can receive Android 9.0 updates.
