Noctua launches NM-SD1/2 screwdriver

Austrian radiator manufacturer Noctua announced the launch of the NM-SD1 and NM-SD2 screwdrivers, the first of their kind. Among them, NM-SD1 is equipped with a Torx T20 screwdriver bit, and NM-SD2 is equipped with a Phillips PH2 screwdriver bit.

The NM-SD1 and NM-SD2 screwdrivers are both 150mm long and feature a magnetic bit and a large handle. The reason why Noctua chose Torx T20 and Phillips PH2 screwdriver bits are that they can be matched with its SecuFirm2+, SecuFirm, and SecuFirm2 radiator mounting kits to provide good compatibility. According to Noctua, the NM-SD1 and NM-SD2 screwdrivers are easy to operate when assembling a PC system, especially in a small environment with limited space, and can solve the difficult problem of installing a large CPU air-cooled radiator, while being very durable and comfortable.

This time the Noctua products are very similar to the screwdrivers sold by German toolmaker Wera Tools, which is a popular type of product among consumers. Noctua did not mention whether it has a relationship with Wera Tools tools, given its pricing and warranty period, it is more likely to imitate the design of Wera Tools products.

At present, the NM-SD1 and NM-SD2 screwdrivers are on sale, and the first batch of them is in the United States, Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, Japan, and most parts of Europe. Consumers can purchase them through the Amazon online store. In terms of price, the reference US region is $9.9
