New iPad Pro are not compatible with your old Apple Pencil

Apple just launched a full-screen version of the new iPad Pro device at the just-concluded conference, as well as a stylus designed specifically for the new iPad Pro.

However, according to the latest update information of Apple‘s official website, we found that the new Apple Pencil stylus and iPad Pro turned out to be incompatible with the old version.

For example, the new Apple Pencil stylus is not compatible with the old version of the iPad Pro device, and the new version of the iPad Pro is not compatible with the old version of the stylus.

In other words, if you want to use the Apple Pencil stylus and iPad Pro combination, you can either select the old version, or you can choose only the new version.

Incompatible is the smart keyboard for the new iPad Pro, which can only be used on new iPad Pro devices that do not support all older devices.

The new Apple Pencil stylus mainly supports magnetic connection to the iPad Pro device, and also supports automatic pairing for wireless charging after connection.

The old Apple Pencil stylus is mainly charged by the lightning interface, while the new iPad Pro is a USB-C interface and cannot be directly connected for charging.

But for users to have a lightning interface charger or buy a USB-C to USB-A interface can also be charged, so these are not too big a problem.

For the compatibility information published by Apple’s official website, it can only be said that it is a way of making money. Interested users can click here to view the compatibility instructions in Apple official.
