New Firefox Focus version released: UI changes, new search engine
Firefox Focus is a privacy-protected browser. Since its release, Mozilla has continued to enrich its feature set, and today’s updates will be closer to your expectations for regular browsers. The new version of Firefox Focus has a new search recommendation feature in the search bar, but it is disabled by default for privacy reasons. Users need to enable it in the settings to use it manually.
Also, there is another significant change in the Android side of Firefox Focus. Mozilla uses its GeckoView engine in Focus, which is also the first time it is equipped in the Firefox mobile app. While this change is currently meaningless, it will allow teams to implement speed improvements enabled by their Quantum engine and new ways to protect their user privacy further.
On the iOS side, Firefox Focus also supports it. Allows users to create a series of actions, including opening a specific website or deleting a user’s private data in the background. The new version is now available on the App Store and Play Store.
