SPATIUM M480 PCIe 4.0 NVMe

The SPATIUM M480 PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 PLAY is built with high-quality, high-density 3D NAND flash memory, with read speeds up to 7000 MB/s and write speeds up to 6800 MB/s, performance can be effectively improved through DRAM cache and SLC cache technology, and comprehensive data error correction functions are supported, including LPDC ECC and E2E data protection. This SSD provides 500GB, 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB capacities to meet the storage needs of different users. MSI says that its dual-finish aluminum heatsink can effectively improve heat dissipation and is well compatible with PlayStation 5, while also providing professionals, content creators, and gamers with excellent performance on other platforms.

Sony PlayStation 5 has very high requirements for SSD specifications and must support PCI-E 4.0 x4, with a capacity between 250GB and 4TB, and a read speed of at least 5500 MB/s. In order to ensure the stability of work, the M.2 SSD must be installed with a radiator, and there are specifications. The length of the radiator is up to 110mm, the width does not exceed 25mm, and the thickness is up to 11.25mm.
