MSI released the SPATIUM M480 PRO series

MSI has announced the introduction of the SPATIUM M480 PRO series, a flagship line of PCIe 4.0 SSD products. The series comprises three models: the SPATIUM M480 PRO HS, SPATIUM M480 PRO PLAY, and SPATIUM M480 PRO. MSI aims to augment its brand image as a provider of high-performance PCs by expanding its ecosystem and encompassing high-performance storage categories.

The MSI SPATIUM M480 PRO series SSDs are constructed with high-quality, high-density 3D NAND flash memory, supporting PCIe 4.0 and NVMe 1.4 standards. They boast an impressive maximum read speed of 7400 MB/s and a write speed of up to 7000 MB/s. With DRAM caching and SLC caching technologies, they effectively enhance performance, supporting comprehensive data error correction features, including LDPC ECC and E2E data protection, thereby offering outstanding durability and longevity. These SSDs are available in 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB capacities to cater to a diverse range of user storage requirements.

The SPATIUM M480 PRO HS, equipped with a bronze aluminum heatsink and stacked fin structure, delivers efficient heat dissipation and a higher level of storage performance for demanding content creators and gamers. The SPATIUM M480 PRO PLAY outfitted with a dual-faced aluminum heatsink, effectively improves heat dissipation and is well suited to meet the installation requirements of the PlayStation 5 (heatsink length not exceeding 110mm, width within 25mm, and maximum thickness of 11.25mm). The SPATIUM M480 PRO is compatible with all PCs and motherboards, unleashing top-notch data transfer speeds.

MSI offers an advanced software solution, encompassing system status monitoring and data backup, integrated into the MSI Center. Users can access comprehensive information about the SSD’s status, including its health, used capacity, and current operating temperature. Furthermore, MSI has partnered with data backup solution provider Actiphy, allowing users who purchase and install MSI SSDs in their PC systems to create backups.
