Over a month ago, AMD, together with its key motherboard partners, showcased several X670 series motherboards and introduced their important features at the Meet The Expert event for enthusiasts and professionals. As AMD releases a new generation of Ryzen 7000 series desktop processors based on the Zen 4 architecture, these motherboards will go on sale with the processors on September 27.
At present, MSI has officially
announced the pricing of X670 series motherboards in the United States. The four motherboards are MEG X670E ACE, MEG X670E GODLIKE, MPG X670E CARBON WIFI, and PRO X670-P WiFi. The corresponding prices are $699.99, $1,299.99, $479.99 and $289.99.

Although the pricing of X670 series motherboards from other motherboard manufacturers is still unclear, MSI’s pricing has caused heated discussions, and it is generally believed that these new motherboards are too expensive. Even if it is only a relatively common model, the price has been greatly increased compared to the previous generation, and some players even hope that MSI can follow the voice of the masses to adjust the price.
Previously, the first batch of ASUS X670 series motherboards appeared on European e-commerce platforms, and the prices of these new products were also very high. Since it is not an officially announced price, it may be the price temporarily hung by the dealer, so the authenticity is doubtful. MSI’s MPG X670E Carbon WIFI and Pro X670-P WiFi have also appeared on European e-commerce platforms before. After deducting VAT, the pre-order prices are 349 euros and 307 euros respectively.
