MSI MEG Z690 GODLIKE retail version leaked

As MSI’s next-generation flagship motherboard, MEG Z690 GODLIKE will have all of MSI’s top motherboard technology, but it will not be heard. Although a lot of news has been leaked in the past period of time, it has never been revealed. Among the 16 CES 2022 innovation awards previously won by MSI, the MEG Z690 GODLIKE is the only product that has not yet been announced among all MSI award-winning products.

Recently, Twitter user @9550pro showed off the retail version of the MEG Z690 GODLIKE motherboard, which is a large package containing an integrated water-cooled radiator and DDR5 memory. The all-in-one water-cooled radiator is MSI’s MEG CoreLiquid S360, and the DDR5 memory is Kingston’s FURY Beast DDR5 series, bundled with a 32GB (2x 16GB) version. Since high-frequency DDR5 memory is not cheap at this stage, if it is a product of DDR5-6000 or above, I believe this package will be very expensive, and it may reach more than $1,500.

It is understood that the size of MSI MEG Z690 GODLIKE is 305×310 mm, which is larger than ROG Maximus Z690 Extreme’s 305x277mm and Z690 AORUS Xtreme’s 305×285 mm, which is almost a square. It is equipped with at least a 22-phase power supply module, has four DDR5 memory slots, supports up to 128GB capacity, and the frequency can reach 6666 MHz or above, and the motherboard dual 8Pin external power supply interface is close to the location of the memory. Z690 MEG GODLIKE also provides PCIe 5.0 x16, PCIe 5.0 x8, and PCIe 4.0 x8 expansion slots, there should be five M.2 slots (four PCIe 4.0 x4 and one PCIe 3.0 x4). In addition, a PCIe 5.0 SSD expansion card named M.2 Expander-Z Gen5 may be included.

Next to the DDR5 memory slot of the Z690 MEG GODLIKE motherboard, there will also be a 3.5-inch LCD screen to display the CPU model, frequency, voltage, and other parameters. It should also be possible to customize settings through the control software. This is the first time there is such a large display on the motherboard.
