MSI MAG B760 TOMAHAWK motherboard exposure

At present, Intel has released the 13th generation Core desktop processors with “K” and “KF” suffixes and the Z790 chipset. Its positioning is relatively high-end, mainly for overclocking players and game enthusiasts. It was previously reported that Intel plans to launch more Raptor Lake processors and H770/B760 chipsets on January 3, 2023, mainly for mainstream players and ordinary users, and more closely to meet the needs of regular user groups.

VideoCardz received photos of the MSI MAG B760 TOMAHAWK motherboard. As a product targeting the mainstream market, it will be divided into DDR4 and DDR5 versions. It is equipped with two 8Pin CPU power supply interfaces. Compared with the B660 model, the power supply part has not changed much. It should still adopt the 12+1+1 phase power supply design.

The MAG B760 TOMAHAWK motherboard is a standard ATX specification, equipped with two PCIe x16 slots and three M.2 PCIe slots. Although there are no specific specifications for the product, “Lightning Gen5” is written on the outer packaging, which means that there will be at least one M.2 PCIe slot that can support the PCIe 5.0 standard. The currently exposed motherboard supports DDR4 memory, with a nominal rate of 5333 MT/s.

Recently, it has been reported that the B760 motherboards of brand manufacturers will reach the channel dealers at the end of the month. According to Intel’s new pricing, this new motherboard is about 10% higher than the previous generation B660 series products. Considering that the MSI MAG B760 TOMAHAWK motherboard has not improved much compared to the previous generation, some players with lower requirements may directly choose the B660 motherboard with a lower price.
