MSI launched the new Spatium M390 NVMe M.2 SSD

MSI briefly introduced its Spatium series SSD during the Taipei Computer Show, and then released three models in July, including M480, M470, and M370, with the capacity of 256GB to 2TB, using 3D TLC flash memory, mainly for professionals, content creators, and gamers. Among them, M480 and M470 are PCIe 4.0 channels, while M370 is PCIe 3.0 channels. Recently, MSI launched the M390 NVMe M.2, once again supplementing the Spatium series of SSD product lines.

MSI said that Spatium M390 is mainly for mainstream consumers, based on PCIe 3.0 x4 channel, M.2 2280 specification, continuous read speed of 3300 MB/s, continuous write speed of 3000 MB/s, providing 500GB and 1TB two kinds capacity. Spatium M390 supports comprehensive data error correction functions, including LPDC ECC and E2E data protection, provides high-rated TBW, has excellent durability and service life. According to MSI, the M390 uses high-quality, high-density 3D NAND flash memory, but it doesn’t say much about the flash memory core. In addition, this series of products provide a 5-year warranty, but MSI has not announced the price for the time being.
