Microsoft will stop supporting Office 2007 next week

Microsoft will officially stop supporting Office 2007 next week, so customers who are still running this version of the productivity suite should start planning to upgrade to a newer version at least. In the absence of support, Office 2007 will no longer receive Microsoft’s vulnerability patch, bug fixes, and security patches. In addition, the company explained that since October 31, Outlook 2007 will no longer be able to connect to Office 365 mailboxes, so after this date will not send and receive e-mail.

The software giant recommends that customers who still run Office 2007 should upgrade to Office 365 ProPlus, Office 2016, or almost any other version of the productivity suite that can still receive updates, such as Office 2013 and so on. But Microsoft recommends that users switch to the latest version of the suite because it can guarantee the longest support time. Obviously, Microsoft means Office 365 is the best choice because it is provided as a service, it always runs the latest version and patch, without having to pay attention to the end of support.
