Microsoft OneDrive will add dark mode, PDF bookmarks, and more

The Microsoft 365 team recently announced the latest roadmap for the Microsoft OneDrive cloud storage service, which is the new features and improvements to be added next.

From the roadmap, we can see that the Microsoft OneDrive will include the dark mode of the web version, the PDF bookmark function, and the preview when sharing documents.

In addition, Microsoft is also preparing to support for DWG file version in sync, which is good news for users of engineering modeling.

Microsoft is about to bring a dark mode to the OneDrive web, which is convenient for users to use at night. Using dark mode at night can reduce light irritation to the eyes.

At the same time, the dark mode also helps to save device power and increase the battery life of laptop power and tablet power. Users can then enable dark in the settings.

In order to facilitate users to better view the content of documents on mobile devices, Microsoft plans to add bookmark functions to PDF documents in the future so that users can mark and pick up where you left off.

Since it is a bookmark function, it is natural to provide both marks and pick-up functions. After opening the document, the user can add a bookmark in the desired location and save it in the Microsoft cloud.

When you view the document again, you can click the bookmark to jump directly to the corresponding location, allowing users to quickly jump to save time when browsing large documents.
