Microsoft Edge browser hava a built-in screenshot tool

A screenshot tool is basically an indispensable tool for every user to use the computer daily. Of course, most users may have installed various screenshot tools for daily use. Microsoft also took this into consideration, so it has a built-in screenshot and snip & sketch tools directly in Windows 10.

But Microsoft seems to think it is necessary to continue to provide users with more screenshot tools, so Microsoft has built a new screenshot tool in the latest version of Microsoft Edge.

After upgrading to the latest version of Microsoft Edge Canary, click the browser menu to see the option of web page screenshots.

Click this option to initiate a screenshot to take a screenshot of the webpage currently being browsed, but this feature is currently in the A/B comparison test phase and is not widely available. So some users can’t see this option even if they are using the canary version of Microsoft Edge.

In terms of shortcut keys, it seems that the browser screenshot tool does not have shortcut keys. When users use the Win+Shift+S shortcut key combination, they are actually mapped to screenshots and sketches app.

In the next few weeks, Microsoft may gradually expand this feature to more users and channels, and interested users can download Microsoft Edge Canary to try.
