Microsoft brings the offline mode to Microsoft Teams
Based on user feedback, Microsoft is about to bring offline mode to the Microsoft Teams application. In fact, as early as 2018, users called for Microsoft to support offline mode.
Of course, you may be thinking about how to use team collaboration tools and instant-messaging tools offline? Wouldn’t it be impossible to send and receive messages if you cannot connect to the Internet?
It is true that the software cannot send and receive messages without an Internet connection, but Microsoft Teams does not require an Internet connection to work.
In the offline mode, users can still browse recent chats and group content, such as viewing some important information in team chats.
At the same time, it also supports writing emails and writing conversations in offline mode. After the network connection is restored, the conversations can be automatically sent. Of course, mail can also be sent.
Microsoft stated that users may not be in offline mode in most cases, but offline mode may sometimes help if the corporate network fails.
For example, when the network fails, users can still browse important content from the conversation and can continue to write emails and wait patiently for the corporate network to return to normal when the network fails.
Of course, at present, Microsoft only confirmed that it will bring these features but did not say when the offline mode will be launched, so interested users need to continue to wait.
