Microsoft announces that Office 2019 won’t receive future feature updates

Today, Microsoft releases Office 2019 for Windows and Mac. By convention, Microsoft will provide security and feature updates on a monthly basis after the release of the new version. Feature updates are usually first offered to Microsoft Office 365.

After all, Microsoft has spared no effort in promoting the Microsoft Office 365 subscription, so it will naturally be the first to introduce new features to this version of subscribers.

However, it is the Microsoft Office 2019 that will no longer provide new features, that is, only the routine security update will be released every month.

Since the release of this official release, all built-in features will no longer receive any new features in the future, unless you switch to the Office 365 subscription.

Microsoft: 2019 is actually a subversion of 365

We have continued to release new features for Microsoft Office 365, including artificial intelligence technologies and forecasts, over the past few years.

Microsoft said that Microsoft Office 2019 is actually a subset of Microsoft Office 365, and all new features are already available in 365 subscriptions.

Simply put, the 2019 version is a collection of new features that Office 365 has released over the past three years, and even then Microsoft will not release new features in the future.

If you want new features, you will need to purchase the Microsoft Office 365 subscription version. Click here to go to the Microsoft official website to purchase the 365 version.
