Leaked Apple support document suggests that Apple will launch a 35W dual-port USB-C charger

9to5mac found an unpublished document from Apple, which appeared on Apple’s website for a short time before being deleted, but the content has been seen by the media. This document mentions that Apple will launch a 35W dual-port USB-C charger. The supported modes include: 5V 3A, 9V 3A, 15V 2A, 20V 1.75A. It is worth noting that the total power of the charger is 35W. So if you connect two USB-C devices at the same time, not each can reach the maximum power of 35W.

In the Apple support document:

Use the Apple 35W Dual USB-C Port Power Adapter and a USB-C cable (not included) to charge your device. Connect a USB-C cable to either port on the power adapter, extend the electrical prongs (if necessary), then plug the power adapter firmly into the power outlet. Ensure the power outlet is easily accessible for disconnecting. Connect the other end of the cable to your device.

Considering the power of 35W, although Apple did not say which devices are supported, the iPhone and iPad must support fast charging, and other devices including MacBook Air, Apple Watch, and HomePod must also be used. That is, the 35W charging power shared by the two ports is actually not high. After all, the current power of other GaN chargers has reached 100W or even higher. As for when this charger will be launched, there is no clear news for the time being. Of course, the 35W power will definitely not be the GaN version.
