Kingston
announced that its FURY series will add AMD EXPO-certified DDR5 memory modules. Kingston said modules and kits with next-generation overclocking specifications will provide gamers and enthusiasts with the latest options. Optimized for AMD’s upcoming AM5 platform, these products feature two preset tuning profiles as well as one user-customizable profile.
Kingston said the first DDR5 memory modules to receive AMD EXPO certification are FURY Beast DDR5 and FURY Beast DDR5 RGB. It adopts a thin radiator, provides a data transfer rate of 6000MT/s, and joins the AMD overclocking extended configuration file. It is believed that the user’s AM5 platform can achieve the best performance while maintaining the required stability.

The Ryzen 7000 series processors support the JEDEC standard DDR5-5200. Using the EXPO memory overclocking technology, users can directly turn it on in the BIOS. It can make the memory work at the best frequency, the highest frequency can reach 6400MHz, but if two memories are installed per channel, the frequency will be reduced. According to AMD, for Ryzen 7000 series processors, the optimal operating frequency of DDR5 memory is 6000MHz, and DDR5-6000 memory optimized for EXPO support will provide the best performance and lowest latency.
AMD EXPO-certified FURY Beast DDR5 and FURY Beast DDR5 RGB memory will be available in late September, and Kingston will offer 16GB singles, as well as 32GB (16GB x2) bundles with a limited lifetime warranty.
