iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro models share the same 2,815 mAh battery

iFixit has recently conducted an in-depth disassembly of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro to study the similarities between these models.

Disassembly shows that the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro batteries are exactly the same, the battery capacity is 2815 mAh and can be replaced with each other and used normally.

The display screens can also be replaced with each other, but the maximum brightness level seems to be slightly different, and the other components are not much different except for the camera and lidar.

The telephoto lens and lidar scanner of the iPhone 12 Pro is not available on the iPhone 12, so Apple directly replaced these components with plastic spacers.

X-ray scans show that these devices all use almost the same L-shaped circuit board, battery, and circular tile array, making it easy to use MagSafe for wireless charging.
