iOS 15.4.1 causes sync bugs in iMessage

Apple recently released the iOS 15.4.1 software update for the iPhone, which fixes some minor bugs, such as the iPhone’s power consumption increased for no reason encountered by some users before. But now it seems that this update may have brought some strange bugs, because users found that their iMessages could not be synchronized in time, and some of the localization functions of native applications could not be used.

According to iPhone-Ticker, recently, some iPhone users found that their mobile phone’s iMessage messages could not be synchronized in time, and sometimes messages sent from other devices would not be displayed, or it would take a long time for them to be displayed on the phone. Generally speaking, if you encounter these situations, users only need to turn off and then turn on the iMessage function to solve this problem, but this method obviously cannot solve this problem here. Users can only wait until the message is synced to see it.

In addition, after upgrading to iOS 15.4.1, iPhone users in some parts of Germany found that the native applications on the mobile phone that need to use location services, such as weather and mobile phone search functions, will have a very large positioning deviation. But other apps that also use location services are not affected.

According to users, it seems that the only solution is to reset the iPhone to factory settings, but this is time-consuming and cumbersome. It is not known if Apple will release another software update to fix these bugs, or if these issues can already be fixed on the server-side.
