iOS 12.1, watchOS 5.1,tvOS 12.1 beta 5 released
Apple today released iOS 12.1, watchOS 5.1 and tvOS 12.1 beta 5, the fifth developer beta, a week away from the third developer beta. iOS 12.1 turned on eSIM feature support for iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max. However, operators must complete eSIM support to achieve dual card dual standby. In the US, operators supporting eSIM include AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile.
The iOS 12.1 beta also includes a new real-time depth of field control that instantly adjusts the depth of field when taking pictures in portrait mode. In iOS 12, the depth of field can only be changed after shooting is complete. iOS 12.1 also rejoined the group FaceTime video chat support, supporting up to 32 users for video and audio FaceTime chat.
In iOS 12.1 beta 2, Apple added more than 70 new Emoji expressions, including red hair, white hair, curly hair, no hair, and smiley face, frozen face, party face, begging face and face with love, superheroes Eye-shaped Nazar amulets and infinity symbols, as well as new animals such as kangaroos, peacocks, parrots and lobsters. New foods Emoji includes mango, lettuce, cakes, and mooncakes.
