Intel Core i5-1250P appeared in the GeekBench benchmark

According to the product classification of Intel’s next-generation Alder Lake mobile processors, the mobile platform will be subdivided into six markets by TDP, which are 5W tablet/handheld devices, 9W ultra-thin laptops, 15W mainstream tablet/notebook computer, 28W high-performance platform computer/laptop, 45W thin enthusiast, and 55W extreme performance laptop.

Intel Core i5-1250P is a 28W high-performance platform computer/notebook market product, using Alder Lake-P core, will be equipped with 4 performance cores based on the Golden Cove architecture (Performance Core) and 8 energy efficiency cores based on the Gracemont architecture (Efficient Core), a total of 12 cores and 16 threads. Its basic frequency is 2.1 GHz, and its turbo frequency is 4.4 GHz.

Recently, an MSI laptop named Prestige 14 A12SC equipped with an Intel Core i5-1250P appeared in the Geekbench test database. Since this is a thin and light business laptop, it is not equipped with a discrete graphics card. The benchmark result shows that the Core i5-1250P has a good performance and achieved better scores than the Core i7-11800H. Both single-core benchmarks and multi-core benchmarks are about 10% faster.

Intel will release many 12th-generation Core series mobile processors based on Alder Lake-P and Alder Lake-M at CES 2022. 28W high-performance platform computers/laptops will rely more on the Xe-LP architecture GPU (up to 96 EU), and some laptops are likely to get Intel Evo certification.
