Intel Arc A780 specs leak:boost clock 2250MHz, GPU power 175W

When Intel released the Intel Arc brand Alchemist (DG2) discrete graphics card with Xe-HPG architecture, it also introduced a brand new Arc Control. The software can follow the game release rhythm with a full set of tools and settings, including driver updates, monitoring, adjustment of performance, live broadcast control, etc., to improve players’ experience with Arc graphics cards. The clock of the GPU on the interface reaches 2200MHz to 2250MHz, and the utilization rate of the GPU exceeds 99%. This clock is the boost clock of the Xe-HPG architecture GPU. In addition, the memory clock is 1093MHz, which means the speed is 17.5 Gbps.

Although the first two entry-level mobile platform products A350M and A370M can also reach such clocks, the 175W figure on the GPU power item shows that this is the specification of a desktop discrete graphics card. Because none of the graphics cards on the Intel mobile platform have such high power consumption, even the Arc A770M is only 150W. In addition, the memory rate of Intel’s mobile discrete graphics card is up to 16 Gbps, which is also lower than the 17.5 Gbps displayed on the interface.

It is speculated that the GPU power item only refers to the power of the GPU chip itself and does not include other components such as video memory. Combined with past rumors and leaked Intel data, the power consumption of desktop graphics cards based on ACM-G10 (SoC1) chips is between 175W and 225W. It can be judged that the graphics card in the video is likely to be a flagship product, perhaps the Intel Arc A780.
